Mental Health Employment Specialist

The Employment Specialist is responsible for assisting individuals in preparing, securing, and maintaining meaningful employment. This position focuses on employment readiness, skill development, job placement, and long-term support to promote independence, inclusion, and success in the workplace and community.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Participate in unit and clinical meetings

2. Provide all phases of community support employment service

3. Develop client, stakeholder and employer relationships

4. Complete documentation per program policy

The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is trustworthy, self-motivated, results oriented, able to adapt to multiple changes throughout the work day and confident in their ability to create relationships within the community.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree Preferred with 1-3 years related experience in human services, business development, or career services. We will also consider candidates with other college education and work experience. Background Study from the Department of Human Services and Motor Vehicle Record Clearance is required. Candidates must have a valid MN driver's license and current automobile insurance coverage, EOE.

Pay $23/Hr
