Overcoming Racism Conference
Facilitating Racial Equity Collaborative's 16th annual Overcoming Racism Conference. The main Conference is held a Metro State University, but you can be a part of a satellite event in Buffalo. This year's theme is "Repairing The Harm - Reparations in Action". Opening ceremonies will include Native American drummers. Keynote speakers, Pamela Ngunjiri and Jim Bear Jacobs, Co-Directors of Racial Justice - MN Council of Churches, will be live-streamed as well. Afternoon session will include a local speaker and small-group discussions. The day will conclude with relaxation and meditative methods.
