Military Appreciation Picnic

Beyond the Yellow Ribbon-Buffalo (BTYR-B) is hosting a Veteran’s Appreciation Picnic, 5-7 p.m., Thursday, July 14 at Sturges Park. The menu will include hot dogs, buns, beans, chips, cookies and bottled water. Veterans will be served at no charge. For others, a freewill offering will be taken.

BTYR-B will use proceeds to help veterans in need. The event will precede that evening’s Concert in the Park, which begins at 7 p.m.
