Doctrine of Discovery documentary viewing

Join Buffalo Presbyterian Church and United Faith Community UCC for an evening of historical importance about the founding of our country. The Doctrine of Discovery was the framework that England, Spain, and Portugal used for colonization of many lands, including North America. This Doctrine (originally issued by the Catholic Church via the Pope) established a spiritual, political, and legal justification for colonization and seizure of lands by Christians. The documentary of 60 minutes long. We will break in the middle for refreshments and discussion before we view the remainder of the movie. Bring your questions!
