PRESENTATION: DNA Basics for Family History Researchers
Join the Wright County Historical Society as we welcome J.H. (Jay) Fonkert, co-managing editor of the Minnesota Genealogist, for his presentation, “DNA Basics for Family History Researchers”. This presentation will be given on Tuesday, April 16th at 6:30pm in the Activity Room of the Wright County Heritage Center (2001 Hwy 25 N, Buffalo). DNA has become a very hot topic in genealogical research. The speaker will explain the basics of DNA tests, products currently on the market, and the practicalities and pitfalls of meshing together your results and your family tree. You may be surprised at what you learn!
