6-week, 2 hour each week, workshop provides knowledge and information about managing any chronic condition (mental or physical), and teaches skills people can use to better manage chronic pain. This class is designed to help people build greater confidence in their ability to manage disease and/or pain and improve quality of life.
Over the course of these six weeks, the workshop will assist participants in finding their own pathway to “being well”, and develop various options to significantly better all aspects of their wellness, from emotional state to physical health. Participants can get the support they need, find practical path to dealing with pain, fatigue and other symptoms, discover better nutrition, exercises and understand new treatment choices, as well as learn better ways to talk to the doctor and family about their health.
