Master Gardeners, Mara Silins and Carrie Jacobs, will present how to make bean seed necklaces. Children will get a chance to see how seeds germinate up close through pouches worn around the neck. Kids will also learn what makes seeds grow, and they will take their pouches home. Once the seed has sprouted, they can plant and nurture it until it produces beans. For ages 3-10. Limit 15. Preregistration required. Sponsored by Friends of the Buffalo Library.
