SUMMARY:Virtual Street Party of Hope
DESCRIPTION:The Street Party of Hope will not be meeting in-person this year due to meeting and event restrictions across Allina Health. We are doing an online fundraising campaign instead\, primarily through Facebook (event page coming soon under Buffalo Hospital) and StreetPartyofHope.org. We will be recruiting and promoting our sponsors on Facebook\, doing an online digital booklet\, and creating printable flyers\, posters\, and coloring sheets for the community\, along with yard signs for anyone who makes a tribute gift. We are doing both a Business Decorating Contest and a Home/Yard Decorating Contest to see if we can get some more word of mouth\, organic spread of the campaign. One actual fun thing we hope to do in Buffalo is to have a food truck schedule the week of the original event (September 14-18) with a truck each day in a different location\, with proceeds supporting the Community Cancer Care Fund. Lindsay Hourscht is our food truck queen and is working on those details. We'll also have a little merchandise station at the food truck events to sell Street Party shirts and water bottles.
